Created in Volnay in 1731, the Maison Bouchard Père & Fils has patiently assembled, over several generations, one of the finest domaines in Burgundy. Moreover, installed since 1820 at the Château de Beaune, it benefits, on this site classed "Monument Historique", from ideal natural conditions for leaving its precious bottles to age.
Bouchard Pere et Fils has been producing the Beaune du Chateau cuvee, an exclusivity of the House, since 1907. A blend of several Premier Cru vineyards, vinified separately, this wine demonstrates the different facets of the terroir of Beaune.
This Chardonnay shows an elegant bouquet of flowers and fruit underpinned by a light vanilla note. Perfumed on the palate and with subtle smoothness, it also reveals the elegance of the very rare Beaune white wines. Have with fine cooked meats, meat pies, warm pate, snails.
